In single- or multi-user environments, the narrow-carriage LA36N and wide-carriage LA36W are ideal for use in a broad range of industries, from banking, data processing, and pharmaceuticals to healthcare, education, and government. This workhorse prints at speeds of up to 360 characters per second in draft mode and 133 characters per second in letter quality mode. Versatile paper handling features allow for either rear or bottom paper feed, as well as push or pull tractor feed. This printer provides a straight paper path, multi-copy capabilities, high throughput, and automated paper detection (top of form, edge detection, and form identification) to ensure trouble-free operation. The 24-wire print head produces clear, crisp output of texts and graphics. There’s support for DEC ANSI, IBM Proprinter X24e, and Epson ESC/P2 emulations.
